[The famous miso champon, highly supported by seaweed fishermen]

The area where the restaurant is located faces the Ariake Sea from the mouth of the Yabe River. This is a port town where many seaweed fishermen work. When the restaurant first opened in 1969, “it was just a small ramen shop.” According to the owner, the menu has expanded in response to customer requests, and now it has a wide variety of dishes, including champon and yakisoba. One of the reasons why the restaurant has received overwhelming support from fishermen 50 years after its establishment is the lunch delivery service it provides to seaweed fishing sites. “When we receive an order, we deliver it to the seaweed hut.” In seaweed fishing, which is affected by the tides, fishermen must eat lunch within a limited time. Orders are concentrated in a short period of time, and the dishes ordered vary from person to person. “We make various dishes quickly at the same time and deliver them to the person who ordered them without fail. At lunch, we make and deliver, and the whole family works together.” How and where to deliver the food efficiently? The owner gives instructions for delivery with a delivery list like a random number table and a plate collection list in hand.

The most popular dish is miso champon, which contains chikuwa (fish cake), kamaboko (fish cake paste), pork, onion, cabbage, carrots, and more. It’s so delicious that even those who are tired of eating champon will be hooked after trying it once.

The miso and pickles used in the dishes are homemade. This is a long-standing and highly trusted restaurant that supports the local food industry as a family-run business.
