The water at Yanagawa Onsen Hotel is a 55 degree natural hot spring that is pumped up from 1,500 meters underground. Originally it was just a bathing facility, but in December 1997 it was reborn as a facility offering dining, drink and lodging, and since then it has become so familiar to Yanagawa residents that no one in the local area doesn’t know about it.

The recommended course is the “Ariake Kaiseki Course” with steamed eel. It is a luxurious kaiseki course that includes a whole eel from the Ariake Sea and a hot pot with different ingredients depending on the season.
