[Hot spring facilities with banquet facilities]

The water at Yanagawa Onsen Hotel is a 55 degree natural hot spring that is pumped up from 1,500 meters underground. Originally it was just a bathing facility, but in December 1997 it was reborn as a facility offering dining, drink and lodging, and since then it has become so familiar to Yanagawa residents that no one in the local area doesn’t know about it.

At the entrance to the entrance hall, you will be greeted by a Buddha statue that has been enshrined there since the establishment. At the entrance, there are alcohol disinfectants and hypochlorous acid sprayers, as well as a recently installed thermal camera that automatically detects body temperature. “Because it is a bathing facility, we are particularly careful about COVID-19 countermeasures,” they said. They are also working hard to thoroughly ventilate and disinfect the facility, and prevent droplets from spreading. In the attached dining area, you can enjoy local cuisine of the four seasons. The recommended course is the “Ariake Kaiseki Course” with steamed eel. It is a luxurious kaiseki course that includes a whole eel from the Ariake Sea and a hot pot with different ingredients depending on the season.

Because it is a hot spring facility, the majority of the guests are reunions, New Year’s parties, and other parties with overnight stays, but the owner said, “We want to be careful to prevent infection and protect this place of relaxation for everyone.” This is a natural hot spring facility where you can enjoy both relaxation and delicious food.
